Dr. Kamaljeet "KAM" Sachdeva M.D. ,F.A.A.P. Board-Certified Pediatrician | Fellow, American Academy of Pediatrics
Dr. Kam Sachdeva brings more than 30 years of pediatric expertise, spanning two continents, to the families of Phoenix. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Sachdeva has dedicated his entire career to the health and well-being of children.
Dr. Sachdeva earned his medical degree from LLRM Medical College in 1985, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Pediatrics and a Doctor of Medicine in Pediatrics in 1993. He practiced for a decade as a pediatrician in New Delhi, India, building a rich foundation of clinical experience before relocating to the United States. He completed his second pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2006 and has proudly called Phoenix home ever since.
After serving the community at Mountain Park Health Center from 2006 to 2014, Dr. Sachdeva took ownership of Moon Valley Pediatrics in 2014 and has been its principal provider ever since — caring for Arizona kids with the same passion and dedication that has defined his career.
Widely respected among colleagues for his clinical acumen and vast experience, Dr. Sachdeva is also deeply committed to medical education. He has authored book chapters and research papers in pediatrics and has actively mentored medical students, residents, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students throughout his career in the United States.
Patients and families know Dr. Sachdeva for his warmth, humor, and remarkable ability to connect with children and parents alike. He believes that open, effective communication is at the heart of great pediatric care — and his easy approachability has earned him the trust and admiration of generations of families. As he likes to say, the secret to his youthful energy is simple: spending every day with kids.
Mary M. Guerin FNP-C
Mary is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been providing exceptional care to families and children in the Phoenix area for over 25 years.
She is dedicated and passionate in caring for children and empowering parents to keep their children healthy and safe. Mary believes that kindness, compassion and knowledge are at the heart of caring for each and every patient. She considers it a privilege to care for each and every child
In her time off, Mary cherishes time with family especially her grandchildren. She enjoys reading and spending time with her dog Hopper.
Ameeta Chowdhary,
MSN, FNP-C
Ameeta Chowdhary, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been providing compassionate pediatric care since 2017. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
Before joining Moon Valley Pediatrics, Ameeta founded and successfully operated Little Star Pediatrics where she fulfilled her vision of providing personalized, relationship-centered pediatric care. She believes every child deserves to feel valued, every parent deserves to feel heard, and every family should receive the same level of care, respect, and attention.
Ameeta takes a great pride in her profession as a nurse practioner and the unique perspective it brings to patient care. She believes in combining clinical expertise with compassion, patient education, and a holistic approach that empowers families to make informed decisions regarding thier children’s health. Outside of work, Ameeta enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her dog and plants, baking, and cooking.
